Continental, partner at Flight Festival Timisoara and Focus in the Park Sibiu

In times of anniversary, Continental involved this year also in well-known festivals in Banat and Ardeal region: Flight Festival in Timișoara and Focus in the Park in Sibiu. 

Flight Festival is about combining technology, art and fun. Colleagues from Continental Automotive and Tires Timisoara chose to promote also this year the products and technologies that we develop in all the tech sections of the event organized in August. We took part in Flight Hackathon where our colleagues, Sorin Bora and Oana Carebia were mentors for the 12 participating teams, competing in one of the three tracks: tourism, culture and creativity, and smart city, we offered the award and a company visit to the winners of the Smart City section; Alexandru Budișan and Paul Naglatzki were on the stage in the TechTalks talking about how the CES digital services platform can contribute to improving Smart Mobility in a modern city, and instant virtual expert support ensured by augmented reality glasses; we’ve got in direct contact with the community in the Tech World - a space designed for interaction with diverse and educational experiences such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Machine Learning; and the retro scene wear our colours, as it was all Powered by Continental.
