A global leader in the supply chain segment

Continental was once again recognized by the CDP as a global leader in its measures and strategies for reducing emissions and for managing climate risks in the supply chain. This means that the company is one of the top 3 percent of 4,800 organizations that were evaluated by CDP in the supply chain segment in 2019.

For the last 10 years, Continental has responded annually to the Carbon Disclosure Project’s (CDP) extensive questionnaire about our commitment to climate change mitigation. In 2019, the company was able to maintain the “B” rating in the climate change area while achieving a higher rating in the water area with a “B” rating than in the previous year.

The international non-profit organization CDP annually calculates the climate data of companies that are managed in the world’s largest database for climate-relevant company information on behalf of investors. In 2019, CDP rated over 8,400 companies on a scale from A to D-.
