Supervisory Board Extends Contract of Member of the Executive Board Dr. Ariane Reinhart to 2022
- Reinhart has been the member of the Executive Board responsible for HR since October 2014

Hanover, December 13, 2016. At today’s meeting, the Supervisory Board of Continental AG, Hanover, extended the contract of member of the Executive Board Dr. Ariane Reinhart, who is responsible for HR and Director of Labor Relations, by another five years up to September 2022.
“When it comes to the development and application of mobility technology, Continental is one of the most attractive and progressive employers in the business. Over the past few years, Ariane Reinhart has taken further, important steps for Continental’s HR work worldwide,” said CEO Dr. Elmar Degenhart upon the extension of her contract. He went on to say: “Because only with the best talents in all areas and especially in software and electronics development, system development, and technological connectivity can we continue to successfully meet the challenges of an ever-evolving automotive industry. On behalf of everyone in the Executive Board team, I would like to thank Ariane Reinhart for her successful work so far and look forward to the chance to continue working with her.”
Reinhart (47) was appointed in October 2014 and has been sitting on the Executive Board of the international technology company where she is responsible for HR. Born in Hamburg and holding a doctorate in law, she has previously held a number of different positions at Volkswagen, mainly in HR.
