Supervisory Board Extends Directorship of Executive Board Member Hans-Jürgen Duensing to 2023

Hanover, September 28, 2017. At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of Continental AG, Hanover, extended the directorship of Executive Board Member Hans-Jürgen Duensing (59), who is responsible for the ContiTech division, by another five years to the end of April 2023. This was announced by the technology company in Hanover.
ContiTech is one of the world’s leading industrial specialists in intelligent, pioneering rubber and plastic solutions. “In recent years, Hans-Jürgen Duensing has accelerated and increased the division’s profitable growth and in doing so has made a lasting contribution to creating added value,” said Professor Wolfgang Reitzle, chairman of the Supervisory Board, in appreciation of Duensing’s work. Duensing has been a member of Continental’s Executive Board since May 1, 2015.
“In the past three years, Hans-Jürgen Duensing has intensified the digitalization of products and has expanded our services business for the mining, agricultural and rail-vehicle industries,” said CEO Dr. Elmar Degenhart, adding: “On behalf of the entire Executive Board, I would like to thank him for his successful work and look forward to working with him in the future.”
