Hanover, Germany, March 13, 2025. Continental has announced the expansion of its TeleMaster portfolio for the construction industry with the TeleMaster V.ply pneumatic tire and the TeleMaster Solid Clean version. The new TeleMaster V.ply was developed in partnership with JLG for their telehandler fleets. With this expansion, the TeleMaster portfolio grows to a total of eight tire specifications for the telehandler application. These tailor-made solutions provide customers with the ability to work on a wider range of job sites and applications.
TeleMaster V.ply: the new pneumatic performance standard for telehandlers
In partnership with JLG, Continental has developed a new customized tire solution for their telehandler fleets. The new TeleMaster V.ply pneumatic tire enhances the Continental tire offering for telehandler clients with a pneumatic tire option. It is designed for end-users that regularly travel longer distances between job sites and are looking for an all-around tire fitment that offers a comfortable ride, high stability and where low heat build-up is required. Due to Continental’s V.ply carcass construction, the new TeleMaster V.ply has a high sidewall stability and robustness against damages. An extra-large footprint assures high flotation capabilities on loose ground and under versatile off-road conditions. This ensures a long-lasting tire. "For more mileage, we have significantly increased the wear volume. Additionally, for customers who use foam-filled pneumatic tires, the new tire design requires less foam resources, which reduces costs and increases sustainability at the same time," says Reinhard Klant, Product Line Manager for Earthmoving Tires at Continental.
"The launch of our new TeleMaster V.ply together with JLG represents a further great step in our mutual partnership to offer leading solutions to the Construction and Material Handling industries," says Carly Shipley, OE Key Account Manager for Earthmoving Tires at Continental.
TeleMaster Clean Non-Marking: tailor-made solid solution for telehandler applications
In addition to the TeleMaster V.ply, Continental has announced the completion of its TeleMaster solid line with its Clean Non-Marking version for all sensitive telehandler applications where long-lasting non-marking tire operations are mandatory. The already well received TeleMaster solid tire continues to be the tire of choice for very demanding applications where the risk of damage is high and a robust, maintenance free performance is demanded. The advanced solid three-layer construction delivers a comfortable ride and ensures a long service life. This non-marking tire is available worldwide and offers customers the flexibility to work on a wider range of job sites without leaving marks or damaging surfaces.
