Further Awards for Continental Summer Tires in AUTO BILD and AUTO BILD sportscars Tests

With the best handling values and the shortest braking distances on wet and dry roads, the SportContact 7 in the size 245/35 R 19 won the current AUTO BILD sportscars summer tire test. The editorial team praised the tire's sporty handling in all weather conditions, precise steering response, good aquaplaning resistance and short braking distances on dry surfaces.

The fact that the SportContact 7 not only offers more driving pleasure, but also more safety, is particularly evident when braking on wet roads: The test vehicle, an Audi TT, came to a halt almost 30 meters later in the braking test from 100 km/h with the last placed tire. This is equivalent to seven VW Golf 8s in a row. "On dry and wet roads, the Conti dominates the sports tire scene," the editors conclude.

In developing the SportContact 7, Continental focused on perfection in all performance criteria to combine maximum driving pleasure with maximum safety. The SportContact 7 is the ideal tire for high-performance, sporty vehicles with electric or conventional drive systems. It is approved for various models from premium manufacturers such as Porsche and BMW and is available in sizes from 18 to 24 inches.

In the 215/55 R 18 tire test for electric vehicles in the current issue of AUTO BILD, the PremiumContact 7 took second place with the rating "exemplary". In the test, it was particularly impressive with the shortest braking distance in the wet, impressive driving dynamics and good mileage. The test vehicle was a Hyundai Kona EV.
