German Auto Zeitung Recommends Continental PremiumContact 7 in 2025 Summer Tire Test
- "Highly recommended" rating from renowned trade magazine
- Continental summer tire with shortest wet braking distance
- Andreas Schlenke, Continental tire expert: "The PremiumContact 7 represents Continental's brand essence - maximum safety on wet and dry roads"
Hanover, Germany, February 26, 2025. In its latest summer tire test, the editors of the German Auto Zeitung awarded the PremiumContact 7 from Continental a “highly recommended” rating. As the only non-UHP tire in the field of participants, the PremiumContact 7 impressed in the test above all with its performance on wet roads. With a braking distance of just 41.8 meters from 100 km/h, it achieved the shortest braking distance in the test: “Once again, the Conti impresses on wet roads with the shortest braking distance. The handling is safe and predictable at all times, even in extreme situations. The grip of the all-rounder is at the level of pure sports tires,” is the conclusion of the editorial team.
The PremiumContact 7 also impressed the testers on dry roads: "It also shines with the best rolling comfort, high safety reserves and a good environmental balance: the expected mileage is high, the rolling resistance is low - great!".
"The PremiumContact 7 represents Continental's brand essence - maximum safety on wet and dry roads," says Continental tire expert Andreas Schlenke. "This is proven by results like those of the Auto Zeitung test. In the last two years, the PremiumContact 7 has already taken well over 30 podium places in international press tests."
Designed as an all-round player, the PremiumContact 7 offers a perfect balance between safety, comfort and environmental friendliness. With excellent wet grip, low rolling resistance and high mileage, it is a sustainable choice for eco-conscious drivers.
Continental's PremiumContact 7 is available in sizes ranging from 16 to 21 inches. It is suitable for electric and hybrid vehicles as well as for cars and SUVs with internal combustion engines and therefore bears the EV compatible logo on the sidewall.
