Suzuki Approves Continental Tire for New S-Cross
- Suzuki S-Cross runs on EcoContact 6 tires in size 17 inch from the factory
- EcoContact 6 ensures lower energy consumption and high noise comfort thanks to its tire technology
Hanover, Germany, July 4, 2024. Suzuki Motor Corporation counts on Continental's original equipment expertise for its new S-Cross series. The Japanese car manufacturer relies worldwide on the energy-saving tires EcoContact 6 in size 17 inch. In addition to short braking distances, the premium tire offers reliable grip on dry and wet roads as well as very good cornering stability even at high speeds.
Energy-saving and quiet on the road with the EcoContact 6 from Continental
The developers at Continental have developed a special rubber compound for the EcoContact 6. In combination with the size-independent tread design, it reduces energy absorption while driving and reduces both friction and rolling resistance. This means lower energy consumption for cars with combustion engines and greater ranges for electric vehicles. In addition, the tire compound of the EcoContact 6 leads to a long tire life. In addition to short braking distances, the premium tire offers reliable grip on dry and wet roads as well as very good cornering stability even at high speeds thanks to its tailor-made tread pattern and asymmetrical groove and sipe geometry. The optimized tread design also reduces the tire's rolling noise for greater noise comfort.
This tire line and size is approved for the Suzuki S-Cross in numerous countries:
