Hanover / Essen, Germany, November 28, 2023. At this year's Essen Motor Show, which takes place from December 1 (preview day) to 10 in the German Ruhr area, Continental is presenting sporty premium tires for high-performance vehicles together with the luxury tuner BRABUS. At Europe's largest trade fair and most important performance show for tuning, motorsport, sporty production vehicles and classic cars, the two partners will be presenting the cutting-edge BRABUS ROCKET R "1 of 25" Limited Edition and BRABUS 750 Bodo Buschmann Edition "1 of 25" models, which Continental is equipping exclusively with ultra-high-performance tires. Both vehicles combine exceptional performance with spectacular bodywork and an impressive ambience.

The BRABUS ROCKET R "1 of 25" Limited Edition offers a high-performance engine with 900 hp (662 kW) and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm, which catapults the supercar from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and to 200 km/h in 7.2 seconds. The carbon body developed in the wind tunnel makes the coupé 196.8 centimetres wide and creates space for extra-wide 21 and 22-inch wheels with high-performance tires up to 335 millimetres wide. Continental supplies the extremely sporty SportContact 7 in 255/45 ZR 21 at the front and 335/45 ZR 22 at the rear. "The sportiest Continental tire of all time was developed for extreme challenges," says Michael Schneider, Head of Tuning Continental Tires Germany. "It gives the Brabus Supercar outstanding traction and can also withstand enormous lateral forces."

Named after the company founder, the BRABUS 750 Bodo Buschmann Edition "1 of 25" is a roadster based on the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4MATIC+ Roadster - powered by a performance-enhanced eight-cylinder biturbo with 750 hp (552 kW) and 900 Nm of maximum torque. This enables the two-seater to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. The Monoblock II evo "Platinum Edition" three-spoke wheels, which emphasize the wedge shape of the roadster with their combination of 21 and 22-inch rims on the front and rear axles, are an extraordinary eye-catcher. For the tires, the German high-end tuner relies on the SportContact 7 from technology partner Continental in the dimensions 275/35 ZR 21 at the front and 335/25 ZR 22 at the rear. Sports springs specially matched to the tires lower the vehicle by around 25 millimetres. "The lowered center of gravity makes the handling even more agile without compromising comfort," says Schneider. "At the same time, the perfect coordination with the tires optimizes active safety."

Continental with a motorcycle at the Essen Motor Show for the first time

For the first time this year, an extraordinary motorcycle will also be on show. The MASTERPIECE EDITION of the exclusive BRABUS 1300 R is based on the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO. The 270 km/h single-seater is powered by a 180 hp (132 kW) V2-cylinder engine. The sporty orientation of this special model also includes a customized wheel/tyre combination with sports tires measuring 120/70 R 17 at the front and 200/55 R 17 at the rear. Brabus relies on the ContiSportAttack 4 with BlackChili sports compound for outstanding grip and extreme precision in sporty cornering.
