CES 2025 is a great opportunity for Continental to show how we are innovating mobility from the road to the cloud and from the virtual to the real world with safe, exciting and autonomous technologies. In the new era of mobility, software-defined vehicles in particular play an essential role. That's why, in addition to many advanced technologies, we are focusing on our road-to-cloud ecosystem at CES 2025. We demonstrate this in our software-defined concept vehicle with the industry's first integrated cross-domain HPC and the first operational truck together with Aurora for driverless freight operations in the U.S. from 2027.

Autonomous

Autonomous Mobility System Competence:Modular & scalable ADAS/AD portfolio, including a full-stack partnership with Ambarella and state-of-the art birds-eye fusion technology, to manage high complexity.

Radar-based Parking Solution Vehicle: To address OEMs' challenge of reducing components and improving aesthetic vehicle design, Continental has developed radar-based parking solutions while maintaining high-speed ADAS features utilizing existing short-range radars and removing ultrasonic sensors.

Smart Automated Truck:Continental's Scalable, Full-Stack Truck AD(AS) Solutions from L2 to L4 Fallback in addition to user experience features including digital mirrors, birds-eye-view and digital access.

Safe

Future Brake System:With our Future Brake System, we offer by-wire hydraulic, semi-dry and full-dry brake system solutions. Matching all customer needs from smart actuator to complete brake function with the highest performance and safety. Based on our decades of experience, our brake systems provide optimized recuperation, low emissions, and are ready for AD.

Drive-Brake Unit:Our Drive-Brake Unit (DBU) combines a highly efficient in-wheel motor with a friction brake. Up to 20 % more efficient than a central drive, it allows reduced battery size or increased vehicle range. Additionally, it frees up valuable installation space between wheels for larger batteries, passengers, or cargo. The wheel individual drive enables new features like active torque vectoring and mission complete in case of failure of one drive.
