Our Agricultural Tires: Engineered for Efficiency

Ivonne Bierwirth has headed up Continental’s global Agricultural Tires business field since August 2022. In her current role, Bierwirth is responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of the business field. She places particular emphasis on the strategic expansion of the agricultural tire business, the consistent focus for all activities on customer needs and the further development of sustainable tire technologies that combine efficiency, durability and environmental friendliness.

Harm-Hendrik Lange has been working as a customer solutions engineer for agricultural tires at Continental since June 2017. Since joining Continental, Lange has been in close contact with farmers and is familiar with the daily challenges they face. His main tasks include providing technical advice to OEM and aftermarket customers as well as conducting internal and external training courses on agricultural tires. He has practical agricultural experience, which he gained on his parents’ farm and reinforced by training as a farmer.

Lisa Reiners has been responsible for product management for Agricultural Tires in the Specialty Tires business area at Continental since August 1, 2024. Reiners acts as the central interface between the Research and Development, Sales, and Quality Management departments, as well as the markets and customer requirements. Her focus is on the strategic product development of agricultural tires. Reiners also has personal experience of farming, as she lives on a farm herself.

Marta Malainho has been in charge of the Research and Development department for Agricultural Tires at Continental’s location in Lousado, Portugal, since January 2018. Malainho is responsible for the strategic direction and management of research and development for agricultural tires. Her main tasks include training her team and further developing agricultural products and technologies. Her focus is on sustainable value creation and the continuous improvement of process quality and customer satisfaction.

Pedro Carreira has been the plant manager of the Continental plant in Lousado (Portugal) since September 2013 and can look back on more than 34 years of experience at the company. In his current role, Carreira is responsible for the overall management of the Continental Lousado plant. His key tasks include continuously optimizing production processes, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards and promoting sustainability and digital transformation at the location.
