After the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting which was planned to take place in Hanover on April 30, 2020 had to be postponed due to the developing Coronavirus situation, the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting is now planned to take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 as an online-only event.
The Annual Shareholders’ Meeting will be held in the form of a virtual meeting without the physical presence of shareholders or their proxies.
Our last official communication was on June 3, 2020, when we announced that the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board of Continental AG have decided in their meetings today that they will propose to the Annual Shareholders Meeting taking place on July 14, 2020 the payment of a dividend for the fiscal year 2019 in the amount of 3.00 Euro per share.
With this decision, the Company is adjusting the previously announced proposal for the appropriation of net income for the fiscal year 2019 of 4.00 Euro per share.
The dividend ex date is the next business day following the AGM approval of the dividend. This year the dividend ex-date is on July 15, 2020.
