Your master’s with Continental
Ready for Continental” is a two-year master’s degree program organized jointly between Continental and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) of the University of Žilina. The focus is on Industry 4.0 and practical training in IT. The program is aimed at highly motivated students with a background in control engineering, information systems, computer science, electrical engineering, or electronics. The master’s degree program is designed to prepare students for attractive specialist positions in the IT sector.
The degree program runs over four semesters. It provides specialized academic training focusing on the core topics in the fields of power and applied electronics, programming, and the use of computer and control technology. The program includes experience in Industry 4.0, big data, and data analytics in the form of an internship or a working student role. It is also possible to work at our headquarters in Hanover, Germany. In the final semester, you will have the opportunity to write your master’s thesis on an industry-relevant topic. In this way, we can ensure that your research and results are relevant and used.
The whole program is taught in Slovak, but some lectures are given in English. You will have the opportunity to attend English courses sponsored by Continental. You will receive a complete master’s degree from the University of Žilina. You will also receive a “Ready for Continental” certificate. After completing the program, you have a good chance of staying with Continental, as you already know the team, the location, and the working style.
- Bachelor’s degree in Control Engineering, Business Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or similar
- Aspiring for a master’s degree and simultaneous practical experience
