Over the course of 18 months, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, develop yourself, and grow professionally. Based in what we call a “home market,” you will rapidly expand your network within both the local and global organization. You will explore different departments, participate in local and central projects, and spend 6 months in a different country.

Each September, we recruit selected graduates for specific markets. Over 18 months, you'll gain practical experience with the international team of our Marketing & Sales Business Area Replacement EMEA, which is part of Continental Tires.
Firmly embedded in your “home market,” our comprehensive program provides a deep dive into the tire industry, our company, our marketing and sales strategy, as well as our digitalization scope. You'll gain extensive exposure to various local and central departments within our Business Area, offering ample opportunities to contribute actively and grow. You will enjoy high visibility and the chance to leverage your expertise from the start.
Phase 1: Onboarding and Initial Training
- Begin your onboarding experience in your home market, where you'll get accustomed to our local operations and start building your network.
- Enjoy a 3-day event in our headquarters in Hanover, Germany, where you'll get to know different stakeholders, departments, management, processes and, most importantly, meet your fellow graduates.
- Contribute to a project run by our central BA.
- Dive into the daily operations at your home location and assume responsibility for your tasks. Enjoy learning on the job and structured training, engage in various projects to apply your learning in real-world scenarios.
This foundational period is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed for the subsequent phases of the program.
Phase 2: Gain international experience
- Gain international experience through an international assignment. Most likely you will spend time in our headquarters in Hanover. For our German graduates the journey usually takes them elsewhere.
- Continue your learning journey in a new office and most likely also department. The choice of your “host department” is decided between your home market, your development needs and wishes and the available host markets. Wherever you go – learning and responsibility is guaranteed.
- Expand your network on a professional and personal level by meeting your graduate peers.
This experience will enhance your understanding of our global operations and allow you to contribute to key central functions.

Prepare within your home market for your role after the graduate program.
