Home Plant Phase I – Onboarding & Shopfloor experience
Within the first 6 months, you will learn what it takes to meet the highest quality standards and customer expectations. Develop an understanding of how quality is interconnected with our production processes and the daily operations at one of our tire plants located in your home region, leading up to our high-quality tire products.
Home Plant Phase II - First Projects and International Exposure
Over the following second 6 months, you will gain a deeper understanding of your roles and responsibilities. Starting this phase, you will participate in the Trainee Meeting Week at the central location in Hanover, Germany where you will meet your peers and together receive your first global group assignments.
Central Phase – Group Projects, Field Trips & Activities
During the third phase of your graduate program, you will spend 6 out of 9 months in Hanover alongside other eXplore Trainees from various locations worldwide. This experience will allow you to familiarize yourself with how the global organization is collaboration effectively, further improve your project management skills and build up your own network. Besides this, you will experience teambuilding activities, trips to other Continental locations together with your trainee peers, contribute to strategic and global projects as well as gain insights into our marketing & sales organization to get to know the full value chain of our Tires.
The program offers you the chance to gain in-depth knowledge through hands-on-training and participation in business projects. Also you will be able to establish a broad, international network – the ideal preparation for a successful introduction to the world of Quality Management at Continental!

- An above-average degree in tech-affine studies, e.g., quality management, engineering (chemical, electrical or mechanical), manufacturing, business IT, science, or logistics
- Fluent in English and the language of the country of your employment
- Committed and reliable; quality- and solution oriented
- An open-minded, ambitious and responsible team player who enjoys working in a multicultural environment
- International experience (e.g., internships or studies abroad) or interest in gaining international work experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
