Our 18-month trainee program offers you the unique opportunity to gain practical experience and develop important skills in the field of quality management and production processes.
You will have the great opportunity to gain work experience abroad as you will spend part of your traineeship in Continental’s headquarter in Hanover, Germany. Thereby you can always rely on the support of our value-oriented, diverse organization.

The Quality Management Graduate Program has a duration of up to 18 months.
These are split into three main phases.
Phase 1 – Home Plant Phase I (Onboarding & hands-on experience)
Get to know your Continental location. Learn all about what matters to ensure
to meet the highest quality standards and customer demands. Gain knowledge on the interlink between quality and the production processes (up to 6 months).
Phase 2 – Home Plant Phase II (International network & first global project)
Expand your network by connecting to your global Trainee colleagues at Continental! Grow together as a team while learning about project management and mastering your first group project.
Furthermore, you will participate in trainings to advance your soft skills and expertise. All while getting to know each department of your plant and by connecting the dots of the organization, the people and what makes it successful.
Phase 3 – Central Phase (Global exposure & teamwork)
Join in different team constellations with your Trainee colleagues both in Hanover, Germany and virtually to tackle new and exciting group and individual projects. Get exposure to management, present your ideas and new approaches.
Additionally, you will have plant visits, customer visits and many more activities to bond with your new network and deep dive into Quality Management at Manufacturing Tires.
The program offers you the chance to gain in-depth knowledge through hands-on-training and participation in business projects, and you will be able to establish a broad, international network – ideal preparation for a successful introduction to the world of Quality Management at Continental!
After the eXplore Tires Quality Management Graduate Program, there are numerous potential job positions, which provide the next big step for your career at Continental.
- Above-average University degree in tech-affine studies, e.g., Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical), Manufacturing, Business IT, Quality Management, Science, or Logistics
- Fluency in English and in the language of your home plant (country of employment)
- Project experience desired
- Relevant internships
- International experience (e.g., internships or studies abroad) or interest in gaining international work experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a committed team player eager to work in a multicultural environment.
- Open minded and ambitious personality, high operational readiness
- Passion for the automotive industry
