Mobile Everywhere – From the Office to the Road
In the early 1950s, Continental built a highly modern building for its day at Königsworther Platz, which was to be its new corporate headquarters. The telephone switchboard at the headquarters enabled fast and efficient communication with customers and within the expanding company throughout the entire world.
Since its foundation 150 years ago, this is the area in which the company has probably changed the most: communication takes place at many different levels today. Continental employees work in a mobile and agile manner – at open workstations equipped with state-of-the-art digital technology.
On the occasion of the 150th anniversary, we will show you the essence of our mission for greater mobility: Embark on a journey through the eventful history of the company since its founding in 1871 with fascinating motifs and experience the development of Continental into an international technology company.
